Who is this for?
Perfect for hybrid workers, anyone on a budget, and laptop users who just need HDMI and a couple of USB ports. Note: display output runs at 4K/30Hz — fine for documents, email, and video calls, but if you spend hours in spreadsheets or do video editing, consider the Anker PowerExpand (4K/60Hz) instead. Not compatible with USB-A-only laptops.

The 4K/30Hz display spec is the one thing to be aware of before buying. At 30Hz, scrolling through a document looks slightly less smooth than 60Hz — most people don't notice in normal use, but it's perceptible if you're sensitive to it. For $89, this hub offers genuinely excellent value. It's the product most of our customers buy first and upgrade from later when they're ready for a full dock.
